What is w-agora :

Key features :

w-agora is a WEB based application developed using PHP and MySQL. This solid back end technology, also known as LAMP (Linux Apache Mysql PHP) allow the community to provide fast and reliable applications.
PHP/Web-based
w-agora is a server-side application. All you need is a WEB server with Opens In a New Window PHP enabled and a database (see below). Nowadays, almost all Internet Services Providers include PHP in their standard offer.
Database-driven
w-agora uses a database to store the messages.
Several database backends are supported such as Opens In a New Window MySQL, Opens In a New Window PostgreSQL, Opens In a New Window mSQL, Opens In a New Window Oracle,Opens In a New Window Microsoft SQL server.
Template-driven
W-Agora is probably one of the most customizable package from its category. It is designed so it can be easily customizable through a Web browser and the use of templates. eg. it can be used as a BBS, guestbook, download area, a photo gallery or a news publishing system.
Extensible
This is one of the points that distinct w-agora from other forum software. You can easily add your own features without hacking the main code.
File upload support
This [optional] feature will allow your users to attach images, documents and all sort of files to their messages with a simple WEB browser.
